Move United is the national leader in community adaptive sports, empowering 120,000 youth and adults with disabilities each year to live to their fullest potential. ASNW is one of Move United’s 200+ member organizations in 45 states that are united by a single mission: ensuring everyone, regardless of ability, experiences the life-changing power of sport and is fully included in their community.
Late last year, ASNW was awarded a grant from Move United totaling $30,000. This will allow us to buy 6 new chairs and a swath of new pickleball equipment (program starting this spring), as well as help cover the cost of facility rentals.
Join us on Feb 28th at the East Portland Community Center for the activation event where we will show off the new equipment, as well as mingle with folks from Move United and The Harford Financial Group.
