Power Soccer

Sports Programs

Power Soccer

Power Soccer is the first competitive team sport designed and developed specifically for power wheelchair users. Power Soccer PDX hold practice sessions twice a month.

Power soccer is a sport played in power wheelchairs. Power soccer allows people who, until recently, never had the opportunity to participate in sports the ability to play competitively or recreationally in one of the most popular adaptive sports in the world.

Played in a gymnasium on a regulation basketball court, two teams of four players attack, defend, and spin-kick a 13-inch soccer ball in a skilled and challenging game similar to able-bodied soccer.

Coaching Staff: TBD

With a heavy heart we are saddened to notify our community that Ryan Kenneally passed away at the end of March 2025. Ryan was our Power Soccer coach who started the Rose City Renegades back in 2017. He was a dedicated coach and player who brought joy and humor everywhere he went. He will be deeply missed by our organization and community. Our thoughts, prayers, and well wishes go out to Ryan’s loved ones, the Renegades, and his community. Join us at Hidden Creek Community Center on June 6, from 3 to 7pm, for a Celebration of Life.
