Track and Field
The Track & Field team welcomes athletes of all ages with physical disabilities and visual impairments to learn the running, pushing, and throwing techniques associated with their Paralympic classification.
Both track & field and swimming athletes enrolled in high school may join their school’s team and qualify for Oregon state meets. All qualifying adaptive athletes, regardless of school designation, compete at the 5A 6A school meet.
Join our experienced USATF certified coaches to work on shot put, discus, and javelin. We cover dynamic warm-up and stretching. We use video analysis to correct form, either in throwing or in push mechanics. We do sprint workouts, and block starts.
