Adaptive Sports Northwest thrives thanks to its dedicated team of volunteers. Volunteers and opportunities are available at our various tournaments, events, and programs practices. Our volunteer base spans a wide range of ages, from high school students and up.
We are looking for volunteers to help with our Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer programs!

Cascade Classic 2025 Volunteer Sign-upCurrent Volunteer Openings
Handcycling offers an excellent opportunity to explore your community while getting a great workout. Adaptive biking, a rapidly growing sport, is accessible to all. ASNW provides adaptive bikes, primarily handcycles, for athletes to rent and try.
We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with our Adaptive Bike Series at Portland International Raceway. A sign-up link will be available in Spring 2025.
Adaptive Sports Northwest welcomes swimming athletes of all Paralympic classifications, teaching those just learning to train for competitive swimming alongside future Paralympians. ASNW’s Piranhas swim team is for athletes capable of independently completing the length of the pool (25 yds).
Because Track & Field covers a wide variety of disciplines, we could always use an extra trainer, coach, or other support member at the Track.

We have a variety of specialty equipment that needs to be maintained, repaired, cleaned, transported and the like. If you are willing, able and interested in helping us maintain our adaptive sport and recreation equipment, please contact us today.
